49th Annual "Beat Texas Party"

Beginning in 1950 at the Baker Hotel, the Beat Texas Party has been the rallying place for Sooner fans for 48 years and # 49 will be no exception!

Join us on Friday, October 8th, at the DoubleTree Hotel's Lincoln Ballroom for the official kickoff of the OU/TX Weekend. Doors will open at 8:00 PM with recorded music and a performance by the OU Spirit Squads. At 9:00 PM our band will begin their evening of great dance music only to be interrupted at 10:00 PM by the appearance of the entire Pride of Oklahoma Marching Band, some 300 strong. Come prepared to scream, cheer, clap, holler, and feel the Sooner Spirit!

We have made some changes in procedures this year, so if you've attended in the past, check this out!

Individual seats will not be reserved, but the party will not be oversold. We will only sell the number of tickets equaling the number of seats available.
At-door tickets will not be sold before 10:00 PM.
Reserved tables may be purchased, and include 10 party tickets for your use.

Time: Friday, October 8, doors open at 8:00 PM.

Price: $15 cash in advance, $20 at the door(Not sold before 10 PM, no credit cards)
